David specialises in the genre of World Jazz and his main career consists of travelling the world performing solo concerts and collaborating with world-renowned artists. 

These days his unique style and sound are a combination of Jazz, Folk, Funk, Rock and Heavy Metal, World, Latin, Reggie, Blues, Classical and more.

World Jazz Guitarist and Composer David MacGregor will be getting together with Serbian Pianist Tihomir Stojiljkovic and Slovakian Drummer Ivan Sveda to present their new touring project Latin America in Jazz. In this project, these musicians will take you on a journey through Latin America with the sounds and stories of the music and culture of this vast and exciting part of the world.

This is a video of the Scottish World jazz guitarist David MacGregor and the Cuban classical guitarist Ahmed Dickinson Cárdenas playing live at the Bolivar Hall in London. The performed guitar piece is the original composition "Navegando en tu rumbo" of the recognised Cuban guitarist Eduardo Martin.
On the 21st of September 2015 the World Jazz Guitarist David MacGregor and Jazz singer Alison Affleck got together at the Traverse Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland to perform a concert in dedication to the two jazz greats Ella Fitzgerald and Joe Pass.
